The new short-term rental law on Oahu means most properties are 30 days minimum stay. It’s an evolving situation but there are only a very limited number of legal rentals. Take care to understand the property’s status if booking.

ESTA

If you’re not a U.S. citizen, it’s likely you will need a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). Your ESTA will be valid for two years and you should apply for ESTA no later than 72 hours before departing for the United States.

SIX MONTH VALIDITY PASSPORT RULE

The U.S. requires you to have at least six months valid on your passport. For this trip, if your passport expires before April 2021, you should renew it before you travel.
